National Harbor
Hi! Yesterday we had the opportunity to visit the National Harbor because Josh's brother is in town and staying there. It is so beautiful! I can't believe we havent been before yesterday. We were a little limited in what we could do because it was the Sabbath, but I am sure we will be out there again. They have a PEEPS store. An entire store for Peeps! Also they were projecting a movie right above the water on a screen. They call it "sunday night's movie on the potomac" I think that is so cool. People just bring lawn chairs and hang out until its dark enough to see the movie! There is an incredible monument called "The Awakening" at National Harbor, and I would love to go back and get some pictures. Its in the sand and I put Henry down with bare feet to walk with me and he hated the sand. In due time I think.....

Inspiration
I have been inspired to give my blog a makeover by two different sources. A friend changed hers just a few days ago to these adorable letter blocks! Also, I have had to tap into my creative side to create my sisters blog so she would get started on one. Enjoy the new look! I hope I do :)

August 5, 2010
My sweet little Henry turns one today. I dont know whether or not to be sad or happy. Of course I am both. I think no one truly knows how fast time flies until they have a child. I cannot believe the amount of growth that takes place in such a short amount of time! Today has however been just as long as today one year ago it seems! HAHA! We have done a lot of fun things today and stayed very busy. I have written already a little bit about the blessings Henry has brought into our lives on his blog, I just wanted to end the day by telling the Universe, and my Heavenly Father thank you for placing so much trust in me. Thank you for sending my family this incredible little spirit. Thank you.
