George Washington University Law School Graduation 2012

We are excited to announce, as most of you know already, that Joshua has Graduated with Honors from George Washington University Law School!! I have felt a number of emotions as we have experienced this amazing achievement of Josh's. First, I am so proud. I have witnessed the hours and hours and hours and hours of work Josh has put into studying, writing papers, working on projects, contests, and doing pro bono internship work, and I amazed with how much motivation he has to work hard and do well in his education. We have been incredibly blessed by this entire experience. First by being able to attend a school high on Josh's list of places he wanted to study. We have been blessed with supportive families, and good friends along the way. Great wards, and the opportunity to live in great neighborhoods. We have enjoyed living in this amazing part of the country and have had the opportunity to see much of what the East Coast has to offer. We have experienced great joy while Josh attended school here.

Second, I am Excited. I am so excited for the next chapter of our lives to begin. Josh had decided to pursue a Job at the Salt Lake Legal Defenders Association. He interned there the summer of 2011 and really enjoyed his work there. He has the opportunity to do some legal research for them this coming summer while he studies for and takes the bar, after which he will apply for a job with them. We are excited for the possible opportunity to live in the Salt Lake/Sugarhouse area.

Third, I am Sad. I am sad to leave such an amazing area! It was amazing to live here! I could go on and on and on about the amazing things and places we have seen and done. I wont bore you with all that, but I am so sad to be leaving such a fun place to live. I am sad about leaving the close friends we have gained while being here and am grateful they all have connections to UT so they will always have a reason to visit!

I have posted some pictures of graduation hilights. Enjoy! and Thank You Josh, for being such an amazing Husband, Father, and Student. Thank You DC for the adventures you have offered, and we hope to see you again someday!

Friday Night Josh was awarded with about 40 other students for their Pro Bono work during their law school career. We enjoyed dinner, a ceremony for all their hard work and a baseball game. The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed the night out with Josh's Parents.

Not an entirely great picture, but there is Josh, posing with the Presidents!

Saturday night we were lucky enough to enjoy the Dean's Reception at the Air and Space Museum on the National Mall. It was INCREDIBLE. It was fun to dress up, visit with friends and enjoy amazing hors d'oeuvres. They had live entertainment, and the simulators going! It was so much fun.

After the reception Josh and I just werent quite ready to go home, so we enjoyed  a couple games of bowling! Josh won both games, but I did get a good lead the first 1/2 of both games. :)

Graduation on the the National Mall. This was Incredible!
Brian Williams was our key note speaker. He was so funny and seemed like a genuinely nice gentlemen. He was very inspiring.

Henry had to sit for 11, yes, ELEVEN, hours! He was a great little trooper.

Handsome Graduate!

Restless Henry....

Mother's Day

My ADORABLE husband let me sleep in on Mother's Day, and surprised me with this incredibly decadent breakfast. Let me just tell you because my picture just doesnt do it justice. This is homemade, raspberry, cream cheese stuffed french toast. It was AH-MAZ-ING! I enjoyed breakfast in bed with my boys and was surprised again with an adorable new summer bag, and purple watch. Thank you for such a wonderful Mother's Day sweethheart. It was very memorable!

My handsome boys.
