Exploding Crust?

You cant tell, but underneath that exploding crust is a yummy chicken pot pie. I thought some might find this funny. I tried the bisquick recipe for chicken pot pie crust, doubled the recipe because what it made the first time just didnt seem like enough and...VOILA! Uh... I'll remember this for next time. It was very good though.

Hello World -

Well, it has only taken me something like 10 days to get back into my normal routine. We did have a really wonderful Christmas vacation though and LOVED seeing our families. It was great to see Henry with all of his cousins. We are also enjoying the new year very much. We did stay up until 12:00am this year! The first in a while simply because I was preggo and working one year and nursing a baby that would be up all night anyway another. Well we finally stayed up! Josh and I were lucky enough to be able to buy a WII with all of our Christmas money and a few games. We competed all night together. It was so much fun. The WII is one of those things I never cared to own, but having it is so much fun. I love my sweet family and am so grateful every day for them. Happy New Year!

Snowy Christmas

We may have a Christmas tradition after all! Oh Im sure we have more then that but recognizing them is the true task. It is D day and we fly out in just a few hours. Destination? SLC, UT! We will be with all of our family this year for Christmas just as we always have been. The difference is in getting there. We are so excited though! Josh and I celebrate Christmas with just the three of us before we leave though. This is the tradition I was talking about. We made a beautiful turkey dinner last night, opened gifts, played with our son and watched him play with his new gifts. (Videos to come) We watched a Christmas movie and enjoyed hot chocolate. It was truly a perfect night. My husband, as he usually does, spoiled me with a beautiful gift and help with dinner and Henry and a stocking full of my favorites! We got Henry just a toy or two, which he seems to really enjoy, and Jake, Kaley and Jordan all got him gifts. It is only 12/18 and Henry has already been able to open several gifts! He is a very loved little boy. Hooray for Christmas traditions!
